E Ink Readers in Demand

Bookeen makes the Cybook eReader Device which uses E Ink's display technology. The Cybook eReader is similar to the Amazon Kindle, iRex iLiad, and Sony Reader.

Demand has been high for all these devices. Amazon is just now beginning to ship again after a 2 week delay and the wait time is still several weeks for new orders.

At Bookeen's online shop a red lettered notice states
"Shipments restart on March 7, 2008. From this date, the average delay between order and shipment is 12 business days . . ."
